We all hate them, it's true, but we need them to keep the site alive - without them, this site would be the shambles, no?

• There will be NO, I repeat, NO harrassment of any kind towards other members, staff or anyone else who uses the site. Guests, please do not flood the site with rubbish - if you want to advertise, we have a guest-friendly board for you to do so.
  
• If you would like to advertise, you may post links in your sig or the advertisement board. Affiliates are always welcome, as long as you put our banner on your site. I do check, so be warned - no banner, no affiliate! Also if you have more than one site to advertise, make sure you keep them all in one thread.
  
• The bio board password is "heartsong".
  
• Changing the topic, I'd just like to say a few words about Staff. Something that gets right on my nerves is when people PM you asking to make them a Mod or G-Mod - I even got one asking to be an Admin once!! That is why I'm saying this right now: if you want to be a staff member, you'll have to earn a position through the way you treat other members, how well you follow the rules, etc. so don't expect me to automatically grant you Admin powers if you send me a PM asking for them. It WON'T HAPPEN.
  
• The currency that has been introduced is for "buying" and "selling" things like images or characters. However it is NOT for use in roleplay, neither can it be used to "buy" your way out of trouble. It's only virtual money, remember.

• When making bios, characters MUST be posted in the appropriate board and MUST be accepted by a member of staff before you go and roleplay with them. Bear in mind that this is a DOG/HUMAN RPG, that means no cats, no horses, no vampire fudgesticks - wolves, dogs or humans only.
  
• People who are playing humans and wish to have their own dog that isn't played by another member, you may make one, but ONLY ONE. If you want any more dogs, you'll have to "adopt" one that's being played by another member.
  
• Powerplaying/God-Moding is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Your characters are not invincible! Play them wisely with respect for other people's feelings - no killing another person's dog without their permission.
  
• Words are one of the gifts we were given when we evolved; use 'em properly, for God's sake. This means NO CHATSPEAK IC (and keep it to a minimum OOC too) and punctuation and grammar are important! It is a waste of time when someone types so much that their fingers are bleeding stumps and someone replies with something like this:
  
  "billy wlked up 2 the otha wolf hi d00d he sed"
  
  -shudders-
  Now look at this:
  
  "Billy walked up to the other wolf. He smiled and said, 'Good morning.'"
  Doesn't that look SO much better?
  
• Graphic breeding will NOT be tolerated. If you see any of it around the site, the whole thread will be deleted and any members involved suspended for up to 2 weeks depending on the severity, and if it continues said members will be BANNED. You only get one "second chance".
